Can’t connect your Airpods?
Here’s some solutions that you can try out.
1. Check compatibility.
JumpRopeGo app is only avaliable on AirPods models with dynamic head tracking function. Currently the compatible devices include:
AirPods 3rd Generation
AirPods Pro 1st/2nd Generation
AirPods Max
Beats Fit Pro
2. Check the app permissions.
JumpRopeGo requires permission to access ‘motion & fitness’ data generated from your AirPods. Please check if you allowed these permissions in Settings > JumpRopeGo > Motion & Fitness.
3. Check AirPods connection status.
Check if there are any other Apple devices connecting to the AirPods.
If you are near another iPhone, iPad or Mac devices that you own, your AirPods may be automatically connecting to those devices before connecting to our app. Please disable auto-connect feature on another device or make sure that your AirPods is currently connected to the device that you are using JumpRopeGo app with.
Play any audio on the iOS device that you are using to exercise with JumpRopeGo. Check if the audio is correctly coming out of the AirPods instead of the iPhone speaker.
4. Restart your iPhone.
There have been occasional reports of the error where the dynamic head tracking feature suddenly stops working properly on AirPods. JumpRopeGo relies on the motion sensors that use this dynamic head tracking feature to track your jumps, so it is impossible to track with AirPods when this error occurs. This issue can be resolved when you reboot your iPhone as it resets the system error behind this issue.
